Dead Knights

I’ve been wanting to write Dark Souls fanfic for a long time, but there are two problems. First, the game doesn’t have a fandom, so no one would care. And second, speculative lore videos aside, none of the characters have well-defined stories. So how would I even go about establishing that what I’m writing is indeed “Dark Souls fanfiction”?

That’s when I remembered – I can write whatever I want forever, and I can call it by any name I want. With that in mind, I think my next themed flash fiction chapbook is going to be about a series of dead knights. With most of my original fiction, I usually try to write for a vaguely PG-13 audience, but I want these stories to be hardcore dark fantasy for mature readers. I want these knights to suffer.

With the exception of the knight who romances the Capra Demon, of course. 🖤
