I finished the story! It is not "good," unfortunately. I'd place it more in the range of "thoroughly mediocre." Still, it is written, and that's what counts.

I'm the sort of person who likes my smut spiced with the dread of being doomed by the narrative, so this story is a present to myself. I think I'll post it on the Saturday before the solstice in celebration. I love endless cycles of sex and death and rebirth. 🌿

Absolutely. It's an AO1 situation, where I'm making an archive of stories solely for myself... but I'm more than happy to inflict my damage on random strangers. Because who knows? Maybe they'll get infected too.

WE should all have things that give us joy, and sometimes the only way to make those things exist is to do them ourselves. I endorse this! A given thing might not be to my personal taste, but that doesn't mean it shouldn't exist for others, and I am content to make my last stand on this hill.
